Question by Steve K: Have you used “stretch mark cream”? Does it work and what brand worked or didn’t work for you?
I was thinking of buying some.for my stretch marks. But I don’t know if the crream can really erase them or if it’s a scam. If you have used a cream for stretch marks and it worked for you, please write and let me know your story and what brand. Thanks!

Stretch marks are a sign of growth or weight gain which stretched the skin faster than it could adapt and grow to accommodate. If you grew taller rapidly, you can get sideways stretch marks on your back. Pregnant women often get them on their bellies, and girls may have them above their butts or on their breasts if puberty’s changes were fast. Obese people have them, too.
There are lots of products which claim to minimize or prevent them, but none proven to work. You get identical results with ordinary moisturizer.
You’ll find that if the stretch marks are reddish or purple-ish, they will fade in a couple of years once growth is completed. A very light tan may minimize their appearance, a medium or dark tan accentuate them (since the stretched skin doesn’t tan at the same rate).
ive used stretch mark creams and yes it has worked. But!, it only works for the red marks. Once the marks turn white you can not do anything about it. It stay forever. any cocoa butter will work.
bio-oil
not a cream, but the best thing that acctually works.
PALMER’s COCOA BUTTER WITH VIT. E
I also use a firming cream (Loreal Contouring & firming Body Gel) so that may be halping my thighs too… but any cocoa butter all the way twice a day is the best remedy
I think Palmer’s is the best brand but any cocoa butter will do for stretch marks…i’m preg an been using it every day and sometimes twice a day no stretch marks and the ones that were on my thighs (i mean since like 3 yrs or so) are actually becoming less noticable which is really good
I tried all sorts of proven , tested creams on my tummy and none of them worked. nope! the tiger strips are still there.
i haven’t use any stretchmarks product but i will share you a story from a close friend of mine. its not a scam ” Strivectin-SD was great she was using it for a couple of month and it lessen the marks and believe me or not she was also using it to lessen her wrinkles under her eyes and the result was visible!
Vitamin E is suppose to help with scars and stretch marks. Also dry cocoa butter…hear thats really good too…:)
