I thought everyone change their features in Photoshop??? well asian cultures whiter skin stands for beauty…like the person stated before me..geisha used white powder or whatever to whiten their skin for beauty…

its a cultural thing.
why do geishas were white all over their skin? it resembles pure beauty underneath all that white makeup but also I guess to cover up identity because they are secretly not so pure.

I used to know a Cambodian family. Naturally they all have dark skin I guess except for rich people. It’s just a culture thing. The mothers also pressure them to wear make up to look lighter. Asian girls with fair skin are considered the standard for beauty. Asians with dark skin (who are still beautiful in my opinion) are considered to be poorer I guess because they look like they’ve been in the sun a lot. Maybe they get embarrassed because of people like you who boast about their “beautiful fair skin”. That girl looks cuter without the photoshop or make up. I wish she saw that.
