In addition to the hormone estrogen, a woman’s body produces other hormones called androgens and this androgen production typically begins during puberty. Some women will develop sensitivity to these androgens during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, or during menopause. In such cases androgens may cause enlargement and over-stimulation of the sebaceous glands in turn causing over-production of sebum. An over-production of sebum coupled with a sluggish exfoliation process typically leads to blocked pores and acne. It is important to note that acne is not caused by an excess in hormone levels, but rather by an abnormal reaction to or sensitivity to normal levels of these hormones.
These days more and more women are developing acne in adulthood. Possible reasons for this are diet, lifestyle and more synthetic hormones in our environment (foods, water, plastics and medication). You can help regulate your hormones by:

Not so. In fact, a significant number of adults suffer from acne. Adult acne is what this condition is termed and it occurs in people twenty years old and older. This is why many women see acne disappear and re-appear with their menstrual cycle. Usually by the time one outbreak clears up the next outbreak of acne has begun. One solution to hormone-induced acne is hormone therapy. It works on reducing androgens which in turn prevents stimulation of the sebaceous glands. Over stimulation of the sebaceous glands results in large amounts of oil that feed the acne bacteria below the surface of the skin.
While hormone therapy can be very effective, it is by no means the only effective treatment and many women do not care for some of the other ramifications of continued hormone therapy. Acne is a medical condition and therefore should be treated by a trained doctor or dermatologist. There are many over the counter drugs and treatments available but you should really only attempt to use these after consulting with a medical professional.

Hello! My name is Mark Eldred and I am writing to tell you how much I love Lipo-6. I used Lipo-6 exclusively to lose 44 pounds in 15 weeks.
Stats:
Before: April 1st, 2006 – 230 lbs.
After: July 15th, 2006 – 186 lbs.
For the past year and a half, I had been trying to get as big and strong as possible. In the process, I gained quite a bit of fat. I decided it was time diet down and get ripped! However, I knew that if I was serious – I need a goal. I needed some accountability. I decided I would compete in the 2006 Natural Michigan Bodybuilding championships.
So, I started my diet at 15 weeks out from the contest date. I used a normal 5 day training split. My diet was very strict with the exception of one cheat meal every week. I used a carbohydrate cycling program – 2 days of moderate carbs and moderate protein followed by two days of low carbs and high protein. However, Lipo-6 was the key ingredient to my success. Lipo-6 helped me burn off the fat while giving me the energy to get through my workouts (especially on no carbs!)!!
After exactly 15 weeks, I stepped on the scale the day of the competition. Down from 230 pounds – I now weighed 186!!! I ended up taking third place in the light-heavy weights.

I’m writing you to “Thank You” for your excellent products. On January 17, 2006, I visited my doctor for a routine checkup and I had to step on those dreadful scales. I’m only 5′8″ tall and the scale read 246lbs!! That was the most depressing moment of my life. Having lost my mom, dad, brother, and sister due to health related problems at relatively young ages, I knew that it was time to make a change, not tomorrow or the next day, but today. I wanted to make a lifestyle change not just a diet for a couple of months just to fail as most fad diets do at some point or another. I did a lot of research that day to better understand what I needed to do and how I needed to do it. I developed a plan to eat 5-6 small meals a day and to put in at least 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise 5 days a week. I still took in 2000 calories on average and planned a cheat day once per week to allow myself to enjoy whatever foods I wanted. I also did a lot of research on NUTREX that day. I must admit, I was very skeptical about believing in LIPO 6 initially. I paid a visit to my local GNC and bought a bottle anyway. That later turned out to be a very, very, smart move. I started taking the recommended dosage on January 18, 2006 and worked my way up to the maximum dosage after a few days. My body fat percentage was at 31% at this time. I had a long way to go to get below 200lbs. I stuck with my plan and it was well worth it. Preparing my food each night, exercising regularly, and feeling great about myself are now nothing more than everyday life. My lifestyle change is now a success. As of today, May 31, 2006, I have lost an amazing 69lbs and weigh 177lbs!! My body fat percentage is now 13%, an 18% difference!! That is absolutely amazing to me!! I no longer have trouble walking up a flight of stairs, working in my garden, or running around with my 3-year-old daughter. My blood pressure has dropped to normal, my cholesterol is near perfect, and I truly feel wonderful each and every day.
